Calder United Gratefully Acknowledges Support from Sydenham Park SC & Football Victoria

Calder United Soccer Club is delighted to announce a promising partnership with Sydenham Park SC, which will see us playing 11 matches at Keilor Lodge Reserve. This support is not just a boost for our senior women's teams; it's a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit within Victorian football.

David Lisolajski, Vice-President of Sydenham Park SC, encapsulated the club's excitement, describing their team as "extremely stoked" to host Calder United's senior women's teams at Keilor Lodge Reserve throughout 2024. "When we learned that they were without a home venue, it was an obvious choice for us to reach out and assist," Lisolajski explained. "Women's football holds significant importance for us at Sydenham, and we believe this partnership will benefit our young girls and both senior women's teams. They will witness professionalism firsthand during match days."

Amanda Stella, President of Calder United SC, expressed her excitement about the partnership and the prospect of bringing top-level women's NPLW matches to Sydenham Park in 2024. "The support from Sydenham Park President Nick and Vice President David, along with the broader Sydenham Park community, is greatly appreciated," Stella remarked. "We eagerly anticipate playing our senior and 20s home games for the 2024 season at Sydenham Park."

Stella also extended special thanks to Josephine La Pila from Football Victoria for her instrumental role in facilitating this collaboration. La Pila's dedication to fostering partnerships among football clubs has undoubtedly contributed to the advancement of our beloved sport in Victoria.

Calder United extends its deepest gratitude to Sydenham Park SC and Football Victoria for their unwavering support and collaboration. This partnership not only provides a home venue for our senior women's teams but also symbolizes the unity and solidarity within the Victorian football community. Together, we look forward to a successful 2024 season at Sydenham Park, where we will continue to promote women's football and inspire the next generation of players. With heartfelt appreciation, Calder United remains committed to advancing our sport and building stronger connections within the football family across Victoria.
